David E. Schnars Jr.

Schnars, David E. Jr., 58 Portage, passed away  March 22, 2026 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan 28, 1968 in Johnstown, the son of David, Sr. and Rose (Louishine)  Schnars.  Deceased family members include his parents, and several aunts and uncles.  Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Tina (Holland) Schnars and children, Anthony and  Ethan Schnars. Brother of Eugene and Steven (Holly) Schnars, and Frances Behe. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Dave enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Portage Amvets, Portage Moose, and  Portage Italian Club. Employed as a cook at the Parkway restaurant for several years. A Celebration of Life Dinner will be held at 5:30 PM Wednesday, April 1. 2026 at the Parkway Restaurant.
