More recently, he was a member of the Riverside Vol. Fire Company. Dave was an avid car buff, a partner in Moxham Moble Service, and Thoroughbred Motor Sales. His formal career was achieved by 2 mentors, the late Michael Sorsaia, VP of sales for Penn Machine where Dave was employed for 14 years and served as the sales officer for the mining division. His other mentor and best friend for many years was Edward L. Kavar, who took the time to teach Dave the insurance business and to do things in the right fashion. Without the guidance of these two men, Dave probably would not have realized the extent of success that he achieved. Pyrich will be received from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday at the St. Andrews Catholic Church, Benscreek, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Fr. Angelo J. Patti, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ferndale United Methodist Church or the Riverside Vol. Fire Company.
