More recently, he was a member of the Riverside Vol. Fire Company. Dave was an avid car buff, a partner in Moxham Moble Service, and Thoroughbred Motor Sales. His formal career was achieved by 2 mentors, the late Michael Sorsaia, VP of sales for Penn Machine where Dave was employed for 14 years and served as the sales officer for the mining division. His other mentor and best friend for many years was Edward L. Kavar, who took the time to teach Dave the insurance business and to do things in the right fashion.
