Bimle, Daniel, 79, of Portage passed away November 9, 2020 at home. Born June 30, 1941 in Summerhill, the son of Paul and Lorena (Smith) Bimle. Deceased family members include his parents, wife, Margaret "Margie"(Conrad) Bimle, daughter Marsha Bimle, and brother in laws Gordon Roberts and William Baldwin. Survived by daughter Lisa (Phil) Zdunczyk; grandchildren Dean (Katie) Bimle; Cody and Katarina Zdunczyk; great grandchildren Olivia, Owen and Mason Bimle. Brother of Paulette (Merle) Kirsch, Becky (Jerry) Lloyd, Linda Roberts, Mercedes Baldwin, Kathleen (Robert) Griffith and Jerry (Becky) Bimle. Retired from Louis Long Lumber Mill. Dan volunteered his time at the former St. Joseph's Parish as a custodian for many years. He enjoyed attending his grandsons sporting events and his granddaughters dance recitals, where he was their biggest fan. Friends received 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Parish, Portage. Committal in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Germany.
