Ciokota, Constance A. "Connie", 74, Portage, passed away, March 2, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 14, 1948 in Johnstown, the daughter of Andrew and Martha (Tutsock) Ciokota. Deceased family members include her parents, brother-in-law, Frank Ference; sister-in-law, Joan Ciokota; and niece, Kelly (Ference) Brown. Survived by son, Scott Ciokota; brothers, Michael Ciokota and Jake (Donna) Ciokota; sister, Judy Ference and her companion, Mike Nagy; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Retired Bar Manager from the Portage Post #150 AMVETS and life member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Friends received from 1-4 p.m., Monday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m.. Father Thomas Stabile, TOR, officiating. Committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Portage. Online condolences may be made at serenkoclaarfuneralhome.com.
