Christopher J. "Gumba" Martino

Martino, Christopher J., "Gumba" 58, Lilly passed away July 8, 2019. Born September 4, 1960 in Altoona, the son of James and Mary (Lozinyak) Martino. Deceased family members include his father, and aunts Ann and Helen. Survived by his mother, loving wife, Barbara (Myers) Martino, children Nicole (Colby), Tricia (Raymond), Crystal and James C. Martino; grandchildren Troy, Trent, Trey, and Abigail; brother James M. "Chico" (Debbie Hagerich) Martino. Also survived by aunts, Susan (Mike) Zumer and Phylis (Joe) Podrasky and numerous in-laws, and several cousins who were like brothers and sisters. He was a graduate of Penn State and Saint Francis University. He loved taking rides with his brother, playing with his grandchildren, spending time at Raystown, traveling and laughing. Friends received 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Catholic Church, Lilly. Father Kevin Queally, TOR celebrant. Committal in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Lilly.
