Skelly, Charles P. "Chuck", 55, of Portage. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Chuck, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend. Born May 5, 1969, left us on October 25, 2024; surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Sandra (Farabaugh) Skelly for 33 wonderful years; proud father to his sons, Chuckie and Nick, and welcomed his daughter-in-law, Emily with open arms. His heart found boundless happiness in granddaughter, Lilanne. He is survived by his beloved mother, Mary Ann and husband Mike Welcher; stepsister, Robin and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in by his grandparents, Blair and Martha Skelly and brother, Raymond Skelly. Chuck was employed for 31 years at The Randall Motor Company. A man of many passions, he will be remembered for his love of family, his enduring friendships, and his enthusiasm for vehicles, with a special place in his heart for his 1975 Duster. Friends will be received from 4-8, p.m., Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, P.C,, Portage, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, with Pastor Jerry Zuvers officiating. Committal will be in Pringle Hill Cemetery. Please bring your Hot Rod in memory of Chucks passion. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations.
