Charles "Charlie" Christina Sr.

Christina, Charles, Sr., "Charlie"; 77, Sidman, passed away October 15, 2022 at home. Born December 27, 1944 in Wilmore, the son of Stephen and Elizabeth (Radachousky) Christina. Deceased family members include his parents; step father, Leo Sesney;  brothers, Stephen; and Francis Christina; and sisters, Irene Wasilenko; Catherine Golden; Helen Dixon; and Elizabeth Marchu. Survived by loving wife of 55 years Eleanor Shirley (Latocha) Christina; daughters, Shirley (Chris) Appel, Greesnburg; and Susan  Given, Sidman; and son, Charles Christina Jr. and girlfriend Jen, Salix. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughter, Krystiana. Brother of Robert (Grace) Christina; William Christina; John Christina; and Andrea (Ernest) Podrasky. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Retired Millwright from US Steel Corp. Avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time with his granddaughter and being a "Mr. Fix It"  handyman. Friends received from 4 to 8 pm. Thursday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 8 pm. Fr. James Spontak, officiating.
