Catherine (Leap) Sciko

Sciko, Catherine “Kitty”  (Leap),74, of Portage passed away February 25, 2025 at home.  Born April 29, 1950 in Altoona, the daughter of Robert and Lola (Rose) Leap.  Deceased family members include her husband Thomas V Sciko and her sister Sandy Borasto (Leap). Survived by her brothers Robert, Joe, and Martin Leap, sister Robin Krull (Leap), twin sons Anthony, wife Christina (Mulato), Thomas Sciko. She was the loving grandmother to Lexi (Lavery), Haley, Lauren, Kyla and Conner Sciko. Kitty worked at Stagers store in Portage for 22 years. Kitty enjoyed cooking for the twins and their friends back in the day.  Kitty was a big fan to her hometown sports Portage Mustangs, and she enjoyed watching Penn State football and Pittsburgh Steelers with her family.  She has touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking if any contributions can be made to Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC Portage to go towards funeral expenses.
