Catherine Theresa Lucas

Lucas, Catherine T. (Goldie) 94, of Portage, died January 31, 2018. She was born July 21, 1923 in Beaverdale, the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Libertine) Parks. Goldie was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Lucas; mother of Joseph (Karen) of Woodstock, MD; cherished grandmother of Megan and Shannon of Woodstock, MD; sister of Bernadine (George) Belsan, Mayfield Heights, OH; Evelyn Pruzinsky, Clinton Twp., MI; Veronica Reynolds, Albuquerque, NM; Edward (Joanne) Parks, Fairview Park, OH; sister-in-law, Frances Parks, Wickliffe, OH; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Parks and sister, Twila Stupi. Goldie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her granddaughters, baking, crocheting and eating chocolate. Friends will be received February 6 at 10:30 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM service at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, 812 Main Street, Portage, PA. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Beaverdale.
