Carol J. (Grabill) Kleman

Kleman, Carol J.Portage, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2025. Born August 11, 1946 in Altoona, the daughter of Stanley Grabill and Sarah Morgan. Preceded in death by parents, loving husband Fred L. Kleman, infant daughter Denise Lynn Kleman, and several brothers and sisters. Survived by son, David Kleman, married to the former Kathy Lamar, Gallitzin; daughter Karen McCabe, and her longtime companion Art Burd, Hollidaysburg; grandchildren Emily Knopp, Alison Connacher (Daniel), Austin McCabe, Elizabeth Kleman and Hannah McCabe and great-grandchildren Joseph, Liam and Lydia. Also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was formerly employed by Sheetz and J.C. Penny's. A devoted mother and grandmother, Carol enjoyed going to church and church activities, camping and gardening. Friends received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Wednesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Friends also received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene, Ebensburg, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Pastor Charles M. Hansen Jr., officiating. Committal in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
