Bryja, Bernice A. 88, Portage, passed away at home. Born July 5, 1937, at home, the daughter of Jacob and Franciszka (Kuras) Bryja. Deceased family members include her parents; brothers and sisters,  John, Joseph (Hedwig Bednarchik), Frank (Florence Janosik), Stanley, Louis (Margie Kreutzberger), Thaddeus (Mary Michina), Chester, Walter and Michael (Velma Orris), sister Mary (Edward Squillario), and infant sister. Survived by sister-in-law, Dorothy (Nibert) Bryja; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received from 9-10 a.m., Thursday where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.  at Holy Family Parish, Portage, with Father Tom Stabile, TOR celebrant.
