Barbara Ann “Barbie” (Plummer) Malchesky, 71, of Charlotte, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 15, 2020. She was born on November 17, 1948 in Johnstown, PA. Barbie graduated from Triangle Area High School in 1966. She married Tom Malchesky on August 20th, 1966 and were married for 51 years until his sudden death in 2018. She had a career in accounting and was a member of the “Mother of Twins” Club. After Barb's double heart attack 5 years ago, she never fully recovered. Barb was not her usual outgoing, spunky, vivacious beautiful self. Barb had a true passion for cooking. She shared that enthusiasm by hosting many holidays and parties. Barb passed on her favorite recipes to her daughter and granddaughters. You could always spot Barb on the sidelines cheering on her children and grandchildren at various sporting events and dance competitions. She found peace and tranquility fishing on the lake especially with her true love, Tom. Barb is survived by her children; Tommy, Tina (Steve), Jason (Jennifer) and Jeff (Geisha), her grandchildren; Nik, Logan, Triston, Bryce, Hayden, Holden, Haleigh, Jordan and Megan and her siblings;Janet Minor (Butch), Bill (Betty), Donny (Marie Jo), Larry (MaryAnn), Kenny(Ann), Debbie Kundrod (Brian), Mary Ann Tedjeske (Chuck); She was predeceased by her husband, Tom Malchesky and parents; Raymond and Jane Plummer, and brother, Ray.
