Anna Mae Giblock, age 91 of Lilly, PA, died on Thursday, September 30, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born in Lilly on February 10, 1930, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Callahan) Wadsworth. She married Frank Giblock on November 6, 1948 in St. Brigid Catholic Church. Together they had a beautiful marriage of almost 72 years. At the time of her death, Anna Mae was a lifelong member of the Our Lady of the Alleghenies Catholic Church in Lilly. Anna Mae was a seamstress for dress and shirt factories in Lilly and Gallitzin. She also worked at Val’s Clothing Store in Lilly. She was a wonderful cook and baker.
Surviving are daughter, Kathy (Don) Shaw of Washington, PA and son, Tom (Marcia) Giblock of Gillette, WY. She was the proud grandmother of Shannon (Gretchen) Giblock, Kelly Shaw, Kristy Shaw, Jamie (Tim) Deimling and Matt Giblock and great-grandmother to Alyssa, Jacob, and Hailey Deimling and Gaven Giblock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; three brothers: Raymond George, Edward Wadsworth, and Albert Wadsworth; and three sisters: Genevieve Lilly, Evelyn Hamilton, and Coletta Miller. As we move forward through our grief, we will take comfort and thank God for the beautiful memories we have shared together.
