Alice Holdsworth (Allen), 90, of Ehrenfeld passed away on September 2, 2021 in Somerset. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary Allen, her brothers and sisters, Richard, Tommy Sherman, Viola, Pearl, Grace, Betty and Elsie, daughter, Susan, granddaughter, Amanda (Lawhead) Kimmel and husband John (Yunk) Holdsworth. Alice was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Alice is survived by sons Timothy (Karen) Lawhead, Richard Lawhead, John Lawhead, Daniel (Maria) Lawhead, daughters Polly (Buck) Rummel, Miriam (Jim) Mangus, grandchildren Justin (Wendy) Lawhead, Rebecca (Andy) Poborski, Daniel (Patrina) Tremel, Angela (Jason) Oxford, Daniel (Ashley) Lawhead, Steven (Lacey) Lawhead, William (Sarah) Plummer, and Noah (Kate) Rummel, great grandchildren Cayley, Zachary, Macie, Sofie, Pulani, Becca, Danny, Remi, Amari, Nathan, Lucas, Judah, Daisy, Xander, Riley, Tyler and Brennen, her best friend Diana Shuhayda, sister and brother in law Cookie and Zane Hutzell, her dog Willy who she loved dearly and many nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with her family and friends, enjoying life, playing cards, having meals together and shopping. She always said she would rather give than receive and she took care of people in need after quitting school in the 10th grade to become a nurses aid. She worked up until the age of 85 as a caretaker. All services are private and in lieu of flowers, donations in Alice's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
