Robert Pauli

Pauli, Robert, 89 Portage passed away May 13, 2018 at home in Portage. Born January 29, 1929 in Portage, the son of John and Dorie (Runkell) Pauli. Deceased family members include his parents, wife Fannie (Horne) Pauli; brothers William John Pauli, Elwood Pauli, Earl Pauli; sisters Clarabelle Krause, Emma Rucosky and Marie Smetana. Survived by daughters Dianne (Jerry) Whaley and Dorie (Joseph)Schornack; grandchildren Robert Kilpatrick, William Kilpatrick, Deanna Buckler and Darcie Buckler as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family.  Life member of Portage Moose and the Portage AMVETS. He was a member of the Portage American Legion Post 430 for 72 years and also a member of the Portage VFW. Friends received 2-4pm and 6-8pm Wednesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage where military rites will be held at 8pm by the Portage Ritual Team. Burial will be at Glen Eden Cemetery, MI at 1pm Friday.
