Richard B. Orlosky

Orlosky, Richard B. 65, of Portage passed away June 6, 2018 at  Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born April 10, 1953 in Johnstown. The son of John F. Orlosky and Mary (Sliko) Orlosky. Deceased family members include his parents, special Aunt Florence Sliko and cousin Vincent Muchinsky. Survived by his brothers Francis (Janet Shevock) Orlosky, Columbia, MD; and Walter (Linda Cunningham) Orlosky, Portage. Also survived by nephew John (Linda Pandelides) Orlosky and children Allison, Michael, and Andrew; niece Sherri (Joseph) Haigh and their children Anna, Teresa, Patrick, Danny and Mary; and special friend Nancy Cunningham. He received 12 years of education through the IU8 in the Special Needs Program. He began working 6-8 years for Goodwill Industries in Cresson and 31 years for the Cambria County Association of Blind and Handicap. He loved polka music, church hymns and seasonal music especially Christmas music. He loved going to PSU football games, bowling and driving the golf cart. The family would like to thank Dr. Donald Ratchford and the caregivers at Cambria Care Center. Friends received from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Chapel, Lilly. Rev. Monsignor John R. Sasway celebrant. Committal in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lilly.
