Richard L. "Dick" Fletcher

Fletcher, Richard L., "Dick", 84,  Portage, passed away April 5, 2019 at Windber Hospice. Born October 25, 1934, in Jenners, PA the son of Clair and Cecil (Noel) Fletcher. Deceased family members include his parents; son, Forrest Gene Fletcher; brothers, Robert, James, and Clair; and sister, Ruth. Survived by loving wife of 62 years Eunola (Adams) Fletcher; daughters, Vanessa L. wife of  Steve Woronec of Lambertville, MI; and Valerie E. Fletcher of Portage; and son, Keith Bryant and wife Donna, Duncannon. Also survived by grandchildren, Anthony Woronec; Nicole (Dustin) Perkins, and Jared (Laura) Harper, and great grandchildren, Alexander, Keith, Lance, Serenity, Vladimir, Genevieve, and Deklan. Brother of Myra, MD. Retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Senior MSGT, with 22 1/2 years of service.  Later retired as a Computer Operations Supervisor for the State of PA with 19 years service. Former Member of Geistown-Richland Lions Club. Member Portage Rotary, and life member of American Legion and Air Force Sergeants Association. He was an avid bingo player and spent countless hours selling tickets for the Portage Rotary, Portage Summerfest and the Lions club. Friends received from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday. Committal will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob. Military Funeral Rites by Portage Ritual Team. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to, Portage Rotary or Summerfest.
