Patricia (Melotti) Cafeo

Cafeo, Patricia, 72, Lilly, passed away March 26, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 20, 1946 in Cassandra, the daughter of Peter and Dorothy (Ream) Melotti. Deceased family members include her parents; brother; Daniel Melotti, sisters; Mary Ann Jerosky, Margaret Melotti, sister in law; Rose Torres and brother-in-law Larry Peruzzi. Survived by loving husband of 48 years, Samuel Cafeo, sons, David (Heather), and Joseph (Morrissa) and daughter,Teresa, wife of Timothy Miller; grandchildren, Nikki, Leah, Stori, Trenton, Troy, Tia, Cooper, Saphira, Tessa and Joseph. Sister of Beverly, wife of Rick New, Wilmore and niece Samantha, Pete Melotti, (Karen), FL; sister in law Becky Melotti, nephews Jeremy (Kaleena) and Jonathan Melotti. Also survived by sister in law Rebecca Melotti and numerous members of the John Cafeo family; nieces and nephews. Patricia worked as a seamstress and in the Dietary Departments of the Ebensburg Center for numerous years. There she made friendships that forever remained in her heart. She loved butterflies and now every butterfly we see will forever remind us of her and her beautiful life. When she was diagnosed with cancer she asked others to "pray for the children at St. Jude's battling cancer." Patricia only wanted to be remembered with happiness and laughter, not tears.  The visitation and funeral services will be private. There will be a Memorial Mass on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11 a.m at St. Francis Xavier Church, Cresson. The Cafeo family is being served by the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC Portage. The family asks that any donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the fundraiser being held for Bill Conley March 31, 2018 at the Cresson Volunteer Firehall in Patricia's mem
