Joseph Allen Williams

Williams - Joseph Allen (Joey J), 31, York formerly of Lilly, died at his home on March 3, 2018. He was born October 27, 1986 in Johnstown. He was the son of John and Jean (Ebner) Williams. Survived by his daughter Joel Lee Williams of Boilings Springs, sisters Theresa Brown and Shelby Williams; brothers John (Russ) Williams and Eric Williams, nieces Julia, Avery and Aria and nephew Malaki along with many cousins whom he made many wonderful memories with of childhood antics. Preceded in death by grandparents, Edward and Theresa (Bubba)Williams and cousin John Stewart (Mikey). As a teenager Joey was actively involved in football, basketball and Boy Scouts. With an adventurous spirit and a love for travel, his world had no borders as he freely blazed across America collecting rocks and crystals. His kind heart and gentle nature made him numerous friends along the way. Soon these friends turned into family, which he spoke fondly of. He visited many places gaining experience as he wrote the chapters of his short life. Joshua Tree was where he enjoyed life before settling in Oregon where he found peace with his dog Missy on a small farm with an extended family, Pete, Melody and many others. Friends received from 10-11 am. Wednesday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home PC, Portage where funeral services will be held at 11am. Pastor Robert Monahan officiating . Burial will be in Lillydale  Cemetery, Lilly, followed by a dinner at Route 53 Diner in Cresson. In lieu of flowers, please give a donation which will be given to Pitties Love Peace.
