Elizabeth Ann "Betty" (Louder) Skrout

Skrout, Elizabeth Ann, "Betty" 83, Wilmore, passed away May 24, 2018 at home. Born August 9, 1934 in Windber, the daughter of  Eugene and Jane (Pomroy) Louder. Deceased family members include her parents, grandson, Charles Skrout and brothers, Sam and David Louder. 63 Years ago she married a wonderful man who is her loving husband, Frank Skrout. She is survived by her children, Patricia Skrout, Ebensburg; Vicki Cummings, Las Vegas; and Scott Skout and wife Stacy, Beaverdale. She will be sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren,  and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Nancy Patterson, Lititz; Ken Louder, TX; Jim (Margie) Louder, Morrisville, PA; and Raymond (Ruth) Louder, South Fork. Member of St. Bartholomew Church where she sang in the choir and devoted her time to the St. Anne's Society. She was also a member of the Wilmore Fire Company Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed woodworking with her husband and was a great cook. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m., Monday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home PC, Portage.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Tuesday at St. Bartholomew Church, Wilmore, Father Joseph Nale, celebrant.  Committal will be in St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Wilmore.
