Bernadette Kunko Obituary

Kunko, Bernadette A., 75, of Portage, passed away March 8, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 18, 1943 in Portage Twp, the daughter of Walter and Catherine (Wojtarowicz) Kunko. Deceased family members include her parents; sister, Frances (Kunko) Whitcomb and niece, Elaine (Whitcomb) Leydig. Survived by sister, Mary Glass and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a CCD teacher, enjoyed cooking, especially polish foods and helping others. She was also an accomplished seamstress and Artist, while she was working as a purchasing agent for Martin Weber in Philadelphia, she took classes at the Art Institute. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish, Caldwell Avenue, Portage. Fr.
